1. Pre-Order Nature of Purchase
All purchases on gearbeltllc.com are pre-orders. By placing an order, you are reserving a unit from the first production run. Full payment is collected at the time of purchase to fund manufacturing. No physical product exists yet and no ship date is guaranteed.
2. Ship Date
The ship date is currently undetermined. Production will begin once sufficient pre-order volume is reached to place a bulk manufacturing order with our supplier. We will notify all customers via email as production milestones are reached. By ordering, you acknowledge and accept that delivery timing is dependent on pre-order volume and manufacturing lead times outside our control.
3. Refund Policy
You may request a full refund at any time, for any reason, before your order is delivered. No questions asked. To request a refund, contact us at bradweaver@gearbeltllc.com with your order number. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days back to your original payment method.
4. Product Use & Liability Disclaimer
The Gear Belt is a weightlifting accessory intended for use by physically healthy adults during resistance training. By purchasing, you acknowledge that weightlifting carries inherent risk of injury and that Gear Belt LLC is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss arising from use or misuse of the product. Always consult a physician before beginning any exercise program. The Gear Belt is not a medical device and makes no medical claims.
5. Product Specifications
Specifications listed on the website are subject to change. The final product may vary from renders and descriptions as the design is refined during the manufacturing process. We will communicate any material changes to pre-order customers.

Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect
When you place a pre-order, we collect your name, email address, and shipping address through our payment processor, Stripe. We also collect basic usage data through server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited). We do not store payment card information — that is handled entirely by Stripe.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to fulfill your order, send order status updates, and contact you about your pre-order. We will not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as required to fulfill your order (e.g. shipping carriers) or as required by law.
3. Email Communications
By placing an order and checking the email consent box at checkout, you agree to receive transactional emails regarding your order. If you opted in to marketing updates, you may unsubscribe at any time by replying "unsubscribe" to any email or contacting us directly. We will never send spam.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Stripe for payment processing and Supabase for order management. Both services maintain their own privacy policies and security standards. We do not control data practices of third-party services.
5. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at bradweaver@gearbeltllc.com. California residents have additional rights under CCPA. EU/UK residents have rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and erasure.
6. Children's Privacy
Our website and products are not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use this website or submit any personal information to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at bradweaver@gearbeltllc.com and we will remove it.

We use only essential cookies required for the site to function. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
